Help Us Protect Our Land, Culture, and Future
Why Your Support MatterS
When you donate to the Wukchumni Community Land Trust, you are investing in intergenerational resilience. Unlike traditional real estate models, our CLT removes land from the speculative market forever, ensuring it remains a resource for the community rather than a source of profit.
Your donations directly support our core pillars:
Cultural Preservation: Protecting land with historical significance, honoring Wukchumni culture and lifeways for generations to come.
Permanent Affordability: Developing and maintaining housing that remains affordable for lower-income households and elders.
Environmental Stewardship: Promoting culturally grounded practices that sustain our forests, open spaces, and agricultural lands.
Community Sovereignty: Funding the research, grants, and legal work required to reclaim and manage land in perpetuity.
Our Commitment to You
The Wukchumni CLT was established to serve as a permanent guardian. We ensure that every acre we hold is managed with transparency and deep respect for the natural world. By giving today, you are helping us bridge the gap between historical displacement and a future of community self-determination.
We are not just protecting land; we are protecting a way of life. Through the CLT, we ensure that the Wukchumni people and our neighbors have a place to call home—now and a hundred years from now.
